Hello World (including you, bacteria)

Hello! I'm Joe, and this is the blog I'll be keeping over the next few years to help chart my application for medical school. I hope it's useful for anybody considering medicine, and if I ramble on about various interesting science topics, well, so much the better. A little about myself: I'm in the Lower 6th, studying Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Latin. Don't be so disparaging about the last one, it's incredibly interesting, and a pleasant contrast with the science. I'm keen about practically every branch of science, although possibly geared more towards the biological side of things, but with, of course, a solid focus on medicine. I think it's an incredibly challenging and so very rewarding career, so with this blog I intend to show the right way to go about doing it. So that's me. On to the science!
